Airbus A380 build compressed into 7 minutes

Does the tail fall off at the end of the runway in the end?

Wow! Never seen French workers actually work!

no, the craft just tilts back, the plane would crash if that happened.

Grrr, I didn't think it was time lapse, I thought it was like one of those "finish SMB" videos with Warp World and stuff.

I wish I could download and save this video, it's very good.

You can. There's a Javascript add-on for most browsers that turns the Watch link into a Download link. Then you can play it using a third-party viewer.

Or, you could just follow the links to Download it from Google and use their player.

sweet vid. But personally I think the A380 is going to live up to what everybody was hoping.

Why wouldn't it be? I think the first A380 goes out to Singapore Airlines before the end of '06. I'm gonna try to fly on one during Christmas. Hopefully there'll be more legroom. Add that to Singapore Airlines' fantastic service, and you're good to go.

In my experience, bigger aircraft means less turbulence.

IIRC, the default config has it with 50% more floorspace but onl 30% more seats than a standard 747 jumbo. In the end poeple will get what they pay for: Higher end airlines like Emirates will have plenty of extra legroom, while lower end ones will pack poeple like sardines.

That's a pretty cool video though, the thing is so ridiculously huge, hehe.

What an amazing video!
It's really awe-inspiring to see the level of engineering that occurs today in this world.
That video was really well made with the sound that fit in perfectly.
