Not sure if this is in the right forum if it isnt sorry o_O . Seems like the best place for it though.

So I've got my first baby on the way in December. We have 2 small dogs that dont shed horribly but they do shed. I'm looking to get a decent purifier for our bedroom and then later the child's room to try and do away with some of the dog hair/dander and overall improve quality of the room.

Anyone here have any recommendations? I've got about $200.00 to spend and would like to stay around that. Really looking for a one room purifier. Been looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16896112005 but theres been a lot of mixed reviews.

Any help appreciated!

A decent vacuum would be needed for that. I don't recall ever pulling dog or cat hair (I have both) out of the filter.

You might want to request this moved to OT. Those guys love talking about this kind of thing.

Will do. Ive got a dyson which does a great job but Ive read up that some of the purifiers really cut down on the need to vacuum and dust so much. If off-topic is where this needs to be please do mods
