So we live in a 3 bedroom house, around 1700sq feet. We have a dog and do a lot of cooking inside the house.

Would buying an air purifier help us keep the air in the house clean and fresh? If so, what do you guys reccommend?

Also, for a size our house, would one unit in the living room be enough, or would we actualy need to have 1 in each room to cover the whole house?

Companies want you to have an air purifier / filter for everyroom, but just use the purifier/filter in the room where the air intake is. Usually it is in the living room somewhere and in the hall way for upstairs.

I would say no, as the ones I have used (expensive ones mind you) have been crap and in some cases have made my allergies worse.

The cheap ones are crap, usually makes the room unbearable. I've heard very good things about the expensive ones, though.
