air in liquid cooling system

Hi,

I am about to build a liquid cooling setup for my rig(just got my dangerden blocks in today) and i was wondering how 2 avoid air in the tubes and such. My last liquid cooling system i bought had air n bubles throughout the whole setup and im sure it hinders the performance. I think it could have been caused from the pump being so weak, but anyways my question is will a large reservoir or a "Fill and Bleed" kit stop this from happening. I was thinking of getting both for my rig to go along with my 160gph pump. But i would like to save afew bucks if possible.

A res, T-line or air trap will do it.
The res doesn't have to be big.
The T-line is just a T fitting with a short piece of tubing (6" or so) sticking up out of the top of the T. You fill your system through that short piece of tubing and air bleeds out of it. It can take a few hours to bleed the system.
An air trap is best. It will bleed the system in less than 10 min. OC forums thread about air traps.

hey just curious about water cooling. How do you prevent buildup (moss, gunk etc.) in the system and how often do you replace the constantly circulating water?

i hear a lot of people use antifreeze to kill gunk and replace the liquid once a year or thereabouts
yep, just use a higly diluted mixture, the water actually does the cooling, but the antifreeze will keep the corrosion way down.
