A few weeks ago a few members of ATOT were about to enlist in the Air Force. I just got off the phone with a recruiting officer and while it was in my mind I thought I'd ask for an update on your situation. Thanks

Been active USN for over 6 years now with 2 combat deployments and loved every single minute of it

But other then that any US Military branch is good as long as U are serving the nation

I am taking the AFOQT in st. louis on tuesday morning. Hope that goes well. I did really well on the ASVAB thsi summer without studying or anything, but this thing is not quite as straightforward (more trick questions) and they also wake you up at 4:00 in the freaking morning to get ready to take it...

For the past year or so thats about the time i've been going to sleep

Also have lost 8 of the required 18 lbs before i take physical in december.

Good for you. BTW have your recruiter introduce you to airmen who work in any specialties you are interested in if you are in reasonable distance from an active, Reserve, or Guard base.
