Air duct from the side panel leading to big typhoon??

Step 1: cut hole in side of antec super lanboy

Step 2: cut top of cd spindle case and mount the tube over step one's hole.

Step 3: Mount fan.

This is just to get the gist of what I am thinking of. The tube would most likely cover the big typhoon but would be getting direct ambient air from the fan mounted on the outside of the case. Would this be helpful, or a waste of time? Would it screw up the airflow in the case? Is step 2 really needed, or will the fan pointing to the hsf be sufficient?

Thanks,

Mashems

Hi,

This is only necessary if the air inside the case is gettin really hot.

The main reason why that might happen is that the hot air coming off the CPU or the graphics card is recirculating inside the case.

I think it would be easier, cheper, and more effiective to make the airflow woek properly and direct the hot exhaust air straight out of the case at the back: assuming you do actually have a problem in the first place.
