Air cooler that won't block memory slots?

I have a 3770K coming in at the end of the week, and I'm looking for an air cooler to go with it.

I'd prefer something that's reasonable capable, but not hideously huge. I'd prefer something that doesn't block memory slots, and ~160mm tall is the highest I can go (a little bit shorter would be great too).

So far the Prolimatech Panther is at the top of my list. Any other suggestions?

Thanks. :)

So your current DDR3 has tall fins?

Hyper 212+ and 212 Evo will usually have the fan hanging over the first slot. It's still usable by slightly tall RAM like Ripjaws, but you need to raise the fan a bit which isn't a problem. I don't think you could put something like Corsair Vengeance under it though.

The best RAM and case width compatibility I know of: contained water coolers. Corsair H60, Antec Kuhler etc. Noctua's top down coolers (C14 and C12P) are also great in this respect. All of these are pretty costly options though.

Also, along the lines of what Lehtv was saying, are you sure a CPU fan will cover a used RAM slot? My 212+ fan covers the #4 RAM slot on my Giga board, but I don't use it... no big deal, I only use #1 & #3 slots.

...and the fans on the 212+/Evo do just clip on, you can position them anywhere by sliding them up a little.
