Air conditioner started making noise and spoutting water out the top

I have a window unit... it's about 5 years old and runs constantly throughout the Summer. 5000 BTU unit, nothing special.

Today, it started leaking water out of the bottom and spitting water out of the top (on the inside). It also started making a rattling noise. When I look inside, the things that's spinning looks like it's office balance and is definitely the thing making the noise.

Is there a way to repair it or should I just go buy a new one?

if it wasn't so hot,I'd say cut it off for awhile, then turn it back on.Sounds like the drain is clogged up,or clogging up and is allowing water to be slung by the fan.Compressed air to the drain hole ftw.

Is there water coming out of the condensate hole/line? Sounds like it's clogged.

Also see if you can replace the mouse with a rat. They drink more so the water levels wont be as high.
