Air Conditioner question

IIRC, it depends on the type of room (office, closet, warehouse, etc...), the load (avg. # of people, electronics), number of windows and type of glass...stuff like that.
Here's a basic rule of thumb:
To determine the BTUs needed to cool a room is to multiply the square feet of the room by 25; add 1,000 for every window and 400 for each occupant.

That's way overkill for a room that size, unless it's got 3 large, leaky windows.. lol

Measure the freakin' room even if you have to guess. How many foot steps from one side to the other for both length and width?

Multiply those two numbers (e.g. 12 x 10 = 120).

Then use a BTU calculator.
