I don't know if anyone has used the new reformulated compressed air that contains bittering agents so people don't huff them.

Great in thought, but using the air coats anything you spray it with with an invisible layer of the crap.

Spraying a keyboard will leave a film that you will taste whenever you eat, often having to wash your hands several times.

This shit sucks.

The last can I had with the stuff didn't leave any residue, but I suppose everyone's formula is different. Try a different brand.

We have 3M now...I am trying to source another type from our vendor...it's all they carry.

Can't we just let the stupid people kill themselves?

"Oh no! Canned air smells bad now! Damn, it sucks that there are no other cheap ways to get high. Hey guys, let's go volunteer at a soup kitchen! We'll get high on helping people!!! HELL YEAH!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!"

Let's see, the first thing that comes to mind is plastic cement. People use that, and it stinks like hell. Varnish - I've got a bottle of that, and one of the warnings on it is that it's a neurotoxin. Something like that ought to cause some sort of high, and it smells pretty funky.
Maybe something else would be any of the "plastic welder" type 2-part epoxies. Good god those things stink horribly.

If people want to get high, bad smell doesn't seem to be much of a problem.

Do the cans specifically say that they have this bittering agent? Is it "standard" now? Is there an easy way to know that you're actually buying a stink bomb?

I used to make a lot of model cars when I was a wee lad. There were two types of model glue; the "non-toxic" stuff and the "toxic" stuff. The non-toxic variety didn't have any smell and took ~20-30 minutes to set up. The toxic stuff, on the other hand, smelled lemony and only required 3-5 minutes to set up. God damned sissies.

You can't 'smell' this. It works on taste.

I just dug up the last can I used, it was OfficeMax's in-house brand. It claims to have a bitterant in it, but I never once noticed it (and didn't even know it ever had the stuff in it until I read the label just now).

44 magnum markers still get you high as a kite...

NOT speaking from experience (most of the time)

Air cans are a joke though - once they cool down the pressure drops to the point where it would be easier blowing through a soda straw. A vacuum (cleaner) with an exhaust feature works well. (beware of static buildup with low RH ambients, however)
