Air Canada to become Air Hoboken

Espn story

If Carter could ever stay healthy, it could be a fun group to watch [lose].

Poor Zo, he wanted to go to a contender but thats life. The Nets paid him last year to do nothing and they should have the right to take care of themselves this time.

wow.

as a nets fan, i dont know what to think. like the article said, this makes the nets extremely thin up front.

Vince carter sucks. That would be a horrible trade for the Nets. Since the nets suck anyways, might as well trade and add another sucky player.

I think the Toronto Raptors got raped on this deal.

In theory perhaps, but since Carter is always injured and Zo compliments Bosh, you're a better team imo.

nets did give up 2 first round picks too

The info on the picks:

One of the picks, which was Denver's 2005 first-rounder, is protected if it is one of the first three picks in the '05 lottery. [This won't be a lottery pick because Denver will make the playoffs imo]

The other, which Denver obtained from Philadelphia before trading it to the Nets, is protected if it is one of the first eight picks in the '05 lottery and one of the first five picks in the '06 lottery.[This will probably go to 2006 since Philly won't make the playoffs making it likely to be within the first 8.]

Since these picks probably won't help the raptors immediately, Its unlikely Zo will stick around after his contract is up (at the end of this year?).
