Just wondering for those with a h110 or h100i(mounted at the top) how did you attach the fan? Above the radiator intake/exhaust or at the bottom of the radiator intake/exhaust?

You should always attach it (as opposed to idiotic recommendation of Corsair) to exhaust air out of your system from the inside.

The simple reason for this is that if you have it sucking in air from the outside then it will also suck in dust and it will clog the radiator thus deteriorating the heat exchange to a point where your temps will rise dramatically after a couple of months or so and then happy wasted hours of your life digging out the gunk which has worked its way into the radiator with a toothpick (been there, done that).

I have mine below exhausting out of the case. As posted above, no need to suck in dust and other airborne crap. H110 by the way.

H100i. There is very little extra rad on the 110 and the 100i can be managed by software on the PC.

Never had the H100i to compare to, but the H110 serves me well. Temps are nothing to complain about, keeps my 4670k nice and cool.

Nice thing about the H100i's software is you only seem to need it once so you can kind of set it and forget it. Retains settings in the unit itself it looks like. Don't even have the software installed currently on my Win 7 SSD. Typing on my Win 8.1 SSD install currently.

Running mine with push/pull on quiet mode front mounted on my case.
