I've god 7770 points in 3dmark 2005 with my sig, ain't my score too low?

please tell me how many points I should have thank you. I'm using 84.20 drivers.

I saw something on the web about amd k8 drivers, where can I get them

I got 8068 with my 7800gt.

Opteron 165 @ 2.6
DFI Ultra-d mb
2 g Gskill xtreme
2-250g Hitachi deskstars in raid 0
Evga 7800 gt
Antec Sonata 2 with stock power supply
xp-90 with panaflo

and op, are you running a TOP SUPER FAST 7800gtx on a crossfireboard? never seen that before lol
maybe thats why for your low scores

I'm using the 84.21 driver, and default BFG card clock of 460/1300. Futuremark shows core clock as 501 MHz... why, I don't know. I got higher score with a non-WHQL driver, but deleted it.

3DMark05 score

Im hitting 8756 points now. it was the video card, it was not running at the good speeed. now its 486, 1340 and my score is a lot better !

You gotta be kidding me. With a few tweaks you should be getting well over 8K on 3DM05....

I'm getting exactly 8K with an OC'd 7800GT (see sig) and no CPU overclock. So something is definitely wrong there. Nonetheless your initial result is not totally out of the range for a card of that type, but drivers play a part, BIOs settings play a part, you could definitely OC that bad boy and squeeze out another 10%....

The newest drivers sometimes don't boost performance at all. Quite the opposite in my experience.
