AIM?

what exactly do you mean use your buddy list with?

you mean you want another program that lets you communicate with your aim buddies?

if you're looking for added features, there's aim addons that add functionality to aim (like tabbed windows and "user is typing" messages)

i use trillian 🙂

I second that. My friend got me into it. I loved the tabbed IM's, the logging feature, and the transparency. It also removes all ads and the such. As far as I can tell, there is no spyware with it either.

AFAIK, AIM+ has spyware, DeadAIM doesn't. I am told that the features are very similar though. I just prefer DeadAIM, and don't enjoy spyware.
