Aim Trojan

I recieved an IM from someone on my buddy list and they asked me if i wanted to play cards and they send you a file that needs to be downloaded to play with them and it ended up being a trojan or something. Be aware that the script is really well done and it was close to impossible for me to tell it wasnt this person. Then it disables task manager and IMs everyone on your buddy list with the same message. It seems to be similiar to the realphx/aplore virus? but i was unable to remove it. If anyone knows how to rid of this virus, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you use a Anti-Virus program yet? If it can't remove it, the program will at least identify the virus/trojan and you can proceed to their support site for removal instructions. Without any info on which trojan this is, I can't give you specific advice. Booting into safe mode should help you kill it in regedit or using msconfig.
