AIM Triton will not reconnect automatically...

I use Skype for free outgoing calls and AIM for free incoming calls. Every time I look at AIM after any kind of interruption, it is offline. This occurs after resuming from S3 sleep or experiencing a brief Internet outage. I see no way to configure AIM to continally attempt to reconnect. Other IM clients do this (Yahoo). With the AIM phoneline feature, is is absolutely necessary that AIM do the same.

What can I do?
 
I don't think AIM has ever had a continuous reconnect feature. Once it has gone through its 3 or so tries to reconnect, it gives up and throws you back to the login screen.
