AIM problems this morning ?

Since about 10am ET, I've gotten a handful of "you're logged on from 2 locations" messages - about 6 so far, about 10-15 minutes apart... anyone else experiencing this ? I'm going through Trillian.

Could it possibly be someone hacked your name? Thats what it sounds like to me. Never encountered this problem though.

sounds more like a system problem rather than a hack of my account only, because I'm getting the message about being signed on so often.

I've signed on to multiple locations before and it only tells you once. (Right now, I'm not signed on anywhere else).

This happens if you lose connection quickly, then gain it back again. This has happened to me a few times, although not this morning.

I've been logged on with an alternate account and I don't see any system messages for double logons nor do I see my main account logged on at all for the last 20 minutes. 😕

How do you go about changing your AIM password through Trillian ? AIM's site only gives instructions on how to do it through the AIM client.

Do you have more than one profile and/or screename in AIM(Trillian)? Or perhaps did you sign on at a friend or relative's house and forget to uncheck the signon automatically box?

nope (not before) and nope...

I've had that problem before, thought it was back when I used AIM (I use Trillian now). It was happening when my internet connection was being flaky (or rather, a specific Insight Columbus build was having connectivity problems).

No problems this morning, tho.

I just got the same thing with my alternate name (that I NEVER use)... my main name continues to stay offline... I don't think I've been hacked... connection issue apparently.
