Before, I could click on an e-mail address from AIM, and it would automatically launch the "New Message" from OE and the e-mail address would appear in the To: field. Now it just launches OE and the "New Message" box doesn't appear anymore. I would have to copy the e-mail address from AIM, compose a new letter and paste the e-mail into the To: field. I even formatted my computer and it still doesn't work. 2 weeks before I formatted my computer, everything works fine. I'm running windows 2000, OE 6 and AIM 4.3. What can I do to fix this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
 
check to make sure that OE is your default mail app. also check the prefs in AIM to make sure that is where it will open new mail.

OE is my default mail prog but I never had to change anything in AIM preferences to get OE and AIM to work together. Formats after formats, this problem never occured till now. Usually after a fresh install, I just install drivers and progs at their default settings, no changes and SP added. Thanks.
