AIM- All my buddies are offline when I sign on. HELP!

I'm using GAIM. It's like Trillian in which you can have AIM, MSN, and Yahoo IM in one.

I played around with the privacy setting. Now all the AIM buddies are offline when I'm logged on, and I know a few of them are online.

AIM's website suggested setting privacy to block all, then allow all.

So in GAIM I tried selecting block all, then allow all, but still can't see them.

I installed Trillian. Same problem-> All my AIM buddies are offline. Tried setting privacy to block all, then allow all. No help.

And I don't want to use AIM because I have friends on different IM's. I want everything in 1 program to reduce the clutter.

ahh..had to install AIM, block everyone, then allow all.

now i can see people again in TRillian
