I think gaim is pretty slick, I found trillian slow/bloated though. My only problem with gaim is file transfers - anyone get this feature to work?
 
I lost total interest in AIM after it started playing ads with *sound*. At this point I don't care what they include in this or the next point release; I don't want it.
 
oo... adium.. i wish there was a windows port. I really like this. another thing w/ gaim i haven't figured out... can you view logs outside of gaim...

edit* ok, gaim isn't as bad now as it was. a couple things I can't get are changing the font size of my profile text , and actually picking up the order of my buddies in my buddy list (this is a problem for every 3rd party program tho). with the text thing, just all around it seems to use arial or something, but displays different for other people. it'd be nice to be able to zoom in on text on my end as well.

I am having the same problem. I hope the gaim developers fix it in the next release.
