Under the health care bills in Congress, you could apply for coverage through a new high-risk pool that President Barack Obama promises would immediately start serving patients with pre-existing medical problems. Wait a second. Read the fine print. You may have to be uninsured for six months to qualify.

And this is the hope and change we are looking for? This is what we will pay billions, if not trillions for? Not much change IMO.

Yeah. I'm sure the uninsurables would be better off never getting insurance instead.

A lot of "uninsurables" have already been uninsured for six months or more due to being..you know...the word in your title... uninsurable.

So they put in this clause to keep people from just hopping over from a private insurance plan and you get upset? Am I missing something?

Great point. Obama promised change, yet we didn't instantaneously see change his first day in office.

And now, SIX WHOLE MONTHS of waiting??? Clearly, an "uninsurable" who hasn't been able to get insurance the past 20 years is going to look at that 6-month wait and conclude that Obama is a liar.

This seems like a smart clause to me. But, of course, people would rather lash out at ideas rather than think them through, so here we have yet another inane thread.

Some of you still don't get it. I said it in my OP and I quote "This is what we will pay billions, if not trillions for? Not much change".

Is this worth it to pay hundreds of billions if not trillions for the same old crap?

Is it stupid to pay more and much more to get pretty much same old things but recyle as new? Who is the troll now, JSt0rm01? Why don't you provide some sources/links/supports against my article? Oh, you can't. Keep your hope and change. I will keep my money.
