Aigomorla's Sneak preview of his U2-Build

Looked at it the other day looks very nice. But honestly why dont you go with phase? Its going to be some what around the same price. If i had extra money i would go phase on my video cards, but thats where the WC'ing comes in. My WC'ing is going to be $500+ just for the VC's. When i am done we will see what quad will get the higher OC.....lol.

thought i should just post up some quick screenies for you guys:

I named her onslaught. That meaning, she is the most excessive computer, i have ever built. And she will continue with her build until the 8950GX2's come out.

My Xeon Lapjob.

Baby Blue and Pink dont look so bad together:

The waterloop is split in two different loops. More info to come when i finish the result section over at XS. Then its copy and paste here.

LOOking good

te3ll a noob what this means please...
Well leak test was okey, but the pump turned out to be way more then i expected. The whole night it was left on, and the loop never finished bleeding. Infact it would keep sucking the cyclone down.
i know what a leak test is but how does the pump being too much affect how long it takes to bleed? i'd think it would bleed faster, no? also, whats a cyclone?

forgive the dumb question, i may have just missed this info as i'm still working on my first cup of coffee :Q

Pump being to much means that it pumps way to much water in a short period of type. This
is a cyclone, but with his it is sucking air back into the loop. The EK reservoirs are having problems with that.

I love how you keep switching out little things like the fan controller (Rheobus to Zalman) and RAM cooler (OCZ to Crab)...

Looks like a nice build.

I'm the king of understatement 😉

EDIT: As far as the front bay setup, I think you should stealth the optical drives, remove decals from the fan controller and vinyl dye the plexi black, and match the stealthing on the empty slots. My 2c.

U know i was actually considering that. I was thinkn of using that AC Ryan glass, to make a front cover for either my fan bays or stealth the opticals.

Then i decided i wanted a mirror finish if that was a go.

As for thel ast bay, i am dropping in 2 temp sensors. One has a backlit red display the other blue. They will represent my coolant temps respectively.

I will have to custom build something for that spot tho. But it should have 2 temps probes sticking out.

PS. I also installed my matrix orbital and yes its very SEXY.

PLED FTW!

i dunno if the cyclone pic was a shot or a joke but i'll assue the best, thanks 🙂

You should see mine when it gets here. It will be air cooled for another 3 weeks though. 🙁! But its shipping tomorrow, and fans are on the way. So ill sleeve up all the fans, put the UV light in it and get you all some temp pics.

7600gs meh.

lol... thats going on my NAS.

currently my main rig is loaded with 2 7900GT's

There getting replaced once 8950GX2's come out. No thank you on the 8800 series. They put out almost as much heat as a overclocked quadcore, EACH.

I added my last 2 raptors. Im on 4 raptors striped raid 0, and yes its uber fast.

Oh Aigo I know something that needs to go... Those ugly wires everywhere, get some wire management!

Bleh.. i know... but i still need to finish building her b4 i can run cable management. I had to improvise a lot.

It seems like... Oh lookie i got a UFO, with UBER amounts of space.

Then, it went to... oh my RD and 655 wont fit side by side... okey,,, RD in front..

Then, CRAP i cant fit my EK's now??? .... more improvising.

Then.... OMG i ran out of space on a U2-UFO.

Bwahahahaha!!!

You've discovered it's an optical illusion, yes, just like I always tell everyone?

I always get a kick out of ppl that flame MM U2-UFO cases for being "too big and heavy!"

My U2-UFO Opti-1203 case is 18"x18"x18" and weighs 11.5 lbs... they just LOOK like they're 43"x43"x43" and weigh 50 lbs... 😀

i would seriously consider it, if it wasnt for that rear plug. You see my computer already has 2 lines it needs to plug into. 1. my meanwell psu, powering my iwaki pump. And 2. my main psu. Adding 1 more would be a serious PITA.

however guys i have a treat for you. My WCG temp torchers. WCG = close to orthos blend. But you guys can check out the systab as well where it says 100% load if you dont believe me.

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p73/aigomorla/NewTemps.jpg

I think thats my new record best for this cpu at this setting. Im getting better temps on a overclocked quadcore, then what most people on this forum get at a simular clocked dualcore on air. 😀

This is definitely the apex of watercooling. In case you guys want to know the difference, this was my old setup.

thats what i seriously call pwn! 😀

nice build!!!! that ufo is beautiful!!!

Any 3dmark results yet? im curious to see what the difference is from your old machine.
