I need to find out what kind of network card a laptop has so I can download windows 7 drivers for it. I downloaded aida32 but it just says "install failed" when I try to launch it... it's not even suppose to install, it's suppose to just run...

Any other programs I can use?

SIW is paid, Speccy seems to only show stuff where the drivers are already installed. I did manage to find drivers on Acer's site and most of them worked, but the wifi ones did not so still need to figure out what kind of card is in there.

Worse case scenario I might have to open it up. Ugh... I hate opening laptops.

I got it working, turns out the wifi driver had another zip file inside that I had to unzip for device manager to find, but I'll try the other suggestions for future use anyway. Thanks.

Because I never heard of it. I'll have to try it now that I know about it. Don't like the word trial though.. does it load a bunch of crap with it too?

Its old-fashion 30-day shareware, with a few [TRIAL]-marks here and there. Nothing to worry about.

In Device Manager if you click the unknown hardware link you should get a hardware ID. Google that ID...
