AI Is Already Writing About 30% of Code at Microsoft and Google
Ya right and Windows is beginning to look and feel like it too.
There's lots more than just code writing that goes into good software design and functioning (eg, user groups, HCI committees to discuss and evaluate user needs, preferences, useability, etc.).
