I've got my Athlon II X3 435 (stock @ 2.9GHz) which I unlocked to a Phenom II X4 B35 (without the L3 cache) and OCed to 3.48GHz (240x14.5) with a new cooler.
I got the temptation to replace it with a Phenom II X4 955 (stock @ 3.2GHz) which of course I would OC to at least 3.6GHz (getting the most out of the stock voltage). It's only 155CAD on newegg.ca so with the selling of my Athlon II it could be a relatively cheap upgrade.
I saw some benchmarks comparing many CPUs...
On a day to day real gaming situation plus a little AutoCAD mixed in there...would I see a noticeable performance with this upgrade? HEard that L3 cache was a good thing to have for gaming.
What do you gyus think?
Is it a good move?
