The Iranian president reportedly works a 20-hour day. Kowsari accused his opponents of using Ahmadinejad's exhaustion as an excuse to spread rumors about whether he will run for a second term in the June 2009 elections.

Perhaps if he eliminated the rants against Isreal, he could cut that down to an 8 hour day?
More likely I think Iran itself may be growing weary of this tool and perhaps we are seeing the beginning of the end of his political career?

Maybe for the next Iranian election America won't throw in its weight with the moderate Iranians who want to boycott the election like they did last time. Assuring Ahmadinejad's election.

Does it even matter who this figurehead is? I thought he was a tool of the mullahs and if he goes, they will get another. I haven't done any research on iran. I depend on the bush administration information machine.
