Well, there's were lot of n00b and lamers in the Diablo2 community... I'm guessing it's still like that. But yes, first time I logged on to play... I got accused of being a cheater... heck, you can scream LPB all you want but doesn't mean I'm cheating. *shrug*

I haven't seen any cheating in 1.6 either. Unfortunately now the game is lopsided with all the headshots and the Galil

Speaking of hacking, MOH AA/SH do the hacking for you! I almost feel guilty killing people in them at times, clipping is so bad you can see people coming through doors all the time and if they stand next to a wall you can see where they are often. I make it a point not to run up to doors or stand against walls, only get close enough to a door to open it.

I got banned from a server because I used a gun during a knife-only match.. why were guns available then? How was I supposed to know?!

Anyway, you might want to try to find a server where you can become friends with the admins, if they know you won't cheat they won't ban ya 😉

A gun at a knife match is a no-no. 🙂 They should have told you it was a knife match, but often things like that can be overlooked due to emotions, especially if such an occurrance happened previously, yaadda yadda ya.

damn I hate that...Back in my UT days i was very very well respected...until the day I learned to run around in close combat with sniper rifle. i swear I scored 10 points per minute....was always in top 20 rank on PG .... eventually I started getting banned everywhere i went. I have never touched a aimbot in my life. Doubt any of you would know me

There were a lot of clans that I was cool with in the top 20 rank....but all the other newb clans would swear I am cheating...it was to a point that I couldnt stand playing anymore. So i left my clan that i had built...we went from 110 ranked to 11 ranked undefeated...then we fell apart...lol

Heck I got so good with the sniper that i had to record every match i played in clans to prove i wasnt cheating. Also my clan would not let me use sniper rifle in practice. eventually they started sayin i was cheating. only a select immature few though. even after sendin the Demorecs they still say i was cheating somehow...lol
