i have just got an mx 700 and its really comfortable but feels waaaay too sensitive. i cant work out if its me or my settings and i dont know what to do. this mouse was quite expensive so i really dont want to have to sell it and buy another 🙁 any and all suggestions appreciated.

Have you tried turning down the in-game sensitivity settings? Or, failing that, the sensitivity settings in SetPoint. Or, failing even that, the sensitivity settings in the Windows mouse properties?

You have lots of options. Experiment with them.

turned down the in game sensitivity, that just lowerd my general turn rate, the curser still manages to fractionally slip past the target. i have tried altering windows settings but that hasnt helped and setpoint doesnt work with the MX700 range.

In Setpoint...

- Speed and Acceleration set to Setpoint implementation.
- Pointer Acceleration to none.

I'm not sure if SetPoint supports the MX700. It doesn't support the MX500 which is about the same age.

However, MouseWare should have those options as well.
