Ahhhhhhhh! Stupid jackhammering!

So they're demolishing a concrete wall almost directly underneath my office. The jackhammering is driving me crazy. It's supposed to take the rest of the week too because it's high-density concrete designed to stop neutron radiation. I think I'm gonna have to find a different place to work for the week.

Why do you have concrete designed to stop neutron radiation underneath your office?
My office is in a university physics lab. The room downstairs was originally designed for a particle accelerator of some sort. They're now modifying it to house a big-ass laser.

Nice. Pics of said laser blasting through a 1991 ford tempo?

Unfortunately the laser is still being built (somewhere in France I think) so no Tempo-blasting pics for a while.
