Well, famous in my world. Imani Coppola was a singer that I used to love when I was a teenager - but she kinda fell off the face of the earth after 1998, got dropped from her record label, etc.

Here's the PDF I got with an interview from her, talking about her Yahoo Music Group that she says she has, and on that group she references her Myspace page 🙂

So, today, I find her on myspace with her local band in NYC - decided to send her a message, and low and behold, she responds with a bunch of information and with two of her songs for me to download 😀

It's just - awesome 🙂
 
I remember her video and that song. Was kinda cool with the break beats and country sample and she was alright.

But, dayum, haven't thought aboput her since except to wonder why she hadn't been on any "one-hit wonders of the 90's" CDs.

yeah. my friend has Pamela Anderson on his myspace. I'm seriously doubting it's her though. that's the thing about myspace. no way to know. but hey, not to rain on your parade or anything. i'm sure it's her. i mean, she probably doesn't have anything better to do anyway.
