I ordered a abit KT7E and amd 1.2ghz from CnetPc 4 days ago.
I got a conformation e-mail and order # and all looked professional and well. Today the site is down and from last i checked my order had no status. I used the e-mail in the conformaion letter i got and it came back as a rejected adress. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYHTING ABOUT THESE GUYS??????
 
BTW, whats the first thing to do if this was a fake site? I assume call and dispute it with CC company, will i get my money back 🙁(

looks like they have their fair share of complaints.

it would depend on your cc company. some of them are really good about it (i hear the visa blue has good stuff regarding this) and they'll give you your money back regardless of whether they can get the company. i also hear cc companies have really good lawyers and aggressively pursue such cases. but this is all what i hear, i've never had to use the system. good luck.

Reseller Ratings has info on them going back to October of 2000, and it looks like people did get thier stuff. Maybe it's just a problem with thier web server, but they didn't look like a great company to begin with.
 
Anyway, I always E-mail and call the company before ordering, just to check the quality of their service. If I can get a hold of someone on the phone and they respond to my E-mail within one day, they look trustworthy. I recommend you all do the same!!
 
i agree with vbboy, research is your friend. although my laziness inhibits me from doing all those things he talks about... i usually just check with bbb.org, bizrate and resellerratings.
 
yea, i dont mind if its late or whatnot, but as long as i get it! I just didnt think they would go under the night after i bought from them 🙁

Possibly problems related to recent viral outbreaks ? Damn that sounds like im describing some sort of plague or somit 😀😛🙂
