It's an IBM 75 GXP 20 gig and its making weird noises. It's a couple years old and I'm suprised it's lasted this long. Time to go double check everything and make sure its all backed up

Look in the AT FAQ pages... there is a good write up with links to the IBM HD test utility. I started hearing the click of death and ran that program... it gave me the RMA number and everything!
