January 31st and it's currently 67 degrees. Nice to be able to open up the windows and air the house out a bit in the middle of winter.

/cracks open cold beer and heads for the back porch

I think y'all have us beat in the "opressive heat and humidity" department. It gets plenty nasty here but nothing like southern LA.

And then, come summertime, you can cook all your food on the sidewalk. No thank you. :p

FYI- the package store at the corner of Lawrenceville and McClendon just a bit inside the perimeter has Gordon Biersch Marzen @ $6.99 per 12-pack if you want to stock up for the weekend. :D

Supposed to get back cold for most of February according to the Melish Meter Man. I can't wait for this crap to get over as well. I can't go to a poker game tonight because one of the players is coming in with a cold. My kid is just coming off of being sick and I don't want to bring any unwanted germs in the house.

So is a blast furnace, but you don't see me sticking my head in one of those, do you? 100+ is hotter than fried f*ck regardless of the humidity. ;)

no way. I've lived in Minnesota where the humidity is really bad. I'd take high temps over high humidity 100% of the time.
