AHHHH, can't enable AGP traffic on my MSI Starforce 831!

I'm running Win2K, have a DFI AK76-SN motherboard, and an MSI Starforce 831 and it won't let me enable AGP traffic in the Display settings. My computer feels about 10 times slower than it used to and I think this is why. I just had to replace my hard drive a little while ago so thats why I lost whatever was working before. Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this problem.

If you can tell us chipsets rather than model codes that really helps.

In general try this; Ensure you have DX8.1, good idea to reinstall it anyway. You may need to run DXDIAG, Diplay Tab, DISABLE Direct3D Accel & CLOSE the app. RERUN DXDIAG & ENABLE Direct3D Accel. A click of the TEST button will show if this solves your partic prob.

Other than that be sure you are using all of the latest official drivers for ALL your hw, mobo and BIOS in particular.
