I'm running Win2K, have a DFI AK76-SN motherboard, and an MSI Starforce 831 and it won't let me enable AGP traffic in the Display settings. My computer feels about 10 times slower than it used to and I think this is why. I just had to replace my hard drive a little while ago so thats why I lost whatever was working before. Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this problem.

;) If you can tell us chipsets rather than model codes that really helps.

:) In general try this; Ensure you have DX8.1, good idea to reinstall it anyway. You may need to run DXDIAG, Diplay Tab, DISABLE Direct3D Accel & CLOSE the app. RERUN DXDIAG & ENABLE Direct3D Accel. A click of the TEST button will show if this solves your partic prob.

:) Other than that be sure you are using all of the latest official drivers for ALL your hw, mobo and BIOS in particular.
