Ahhh why does my desktop refresh slow as heck!

Geforce 2 Ultra connected via DVI to my Planar 17.4" LCD.

Running detonator 27.42, W2k pro

Is this a known problem, i dunno it happens sometime when i hit the show desktop button. It takes a second or two for stuff to show up. Other than that evertying is lightening fast.

I don't remember when it started happening, any recomendations for which drivers to use? I don't really game anymore so getting more 3dmarks for FPS doesn't matter.

EDIT: This did not use to happen, I dont' know it if its a driver problem or something in w2k is messed up. Ah suggestions?

Try a WHQL certified NVidia driver (I think the 23.12 driver is the last WHQL you can find so far).

I'm now using the WHQL drivers from nvidia.com, its 23.11BTW.

The problem is still here, but its a better now. Maybe I just need to re-install w2k sometime. Its been about 1.5 yrs since i installed it
