Ahhh... The joys of being old.

Just orderd this: Honeywell TH8320 & I'm excited

Honeywell's new Vision Series of programmable thermostats set a new standard for easy-to-use thermostats. The VisionPro 8000 combines innovative technology, a large, easy-to-read touchscreen display, and common-sense, menu-driven programming developed and tested via extensive consumer research. All this adds up to deliver Honeywell's easiest-to-use thermostat ever! Plus, Vision provides the exceptional quality and comfort control (+/- 1o setpoint) you expect from Honeywell thermostat controls. Works with gas, oil, electric, heat pump and more systems with up to 3 heat/2 cool.

LOL. I think also being a homeowner with a new toy makes it ok. I know I enjoy getting new stuff for mine even if it's not electronic.

eBay, $40 under retail with shipping😀

I'm also excited because it's going to control a new HVAC system in the next couple of months.

I've got an older Honeywell, but it's only a 5 day programmable & it confuses the wife, so I just leave the house a constant temp🙁

sweet.. buy it now? seller's handle?

Seriously, I have an old dial one and it irritates me...

Ugh, you'll learn to hate the touch screen. We have a thermostat like that and the kids keep getting all gunked up, plus it's a bit oversensitive so the temperature is hard to set---we usually just make do with "close enough" 🙂

Hopefully, it'll be a set & forget kind of thing...
