I went to look at cars today and once I drove the new '05 Legacy I was hooked. A 250HP turbo engine made me fall in love with the ar the instant I drove it off the lot and I knew once I brought it back that it was the car I was taking home that day. Got a pretty good deal, talked the salesman into just a few hundy over invoice and was able to keep my trade in (they were trying to lowball me somethin fierce).

All in all, I LOVE the car. There are a few options that I went without (leather, moonroof, power seats) but I dont really care. Woohoo!
 
I I love the LL Bean Edition that Subaru offers - it's pure sex 🙂 I['d dare to say that I love the outback tooo 😛 drooool
 
When I went onto the lot I had never even given a Subaru car a second thought. I know the WRX is a ton of fun to drive but its a bit small for my 6'5" frame. I saw the Legacy and immediately went over to check it out. I'll post pics tomorrows when its light out but mine is the GT in Obsidian Black Pearl. As I said above, its cloth and not leather but I dont really care. I never feel the leatherwhen I'm driving anyways.
 
That thing must haul freakin ass! I just checked out the GT Sedan one and fell in love. I would kill somebody to own that. Maybe even myself.
 
Congrats on the purchase but this thread demands pics of your new car. 🙂

I am assuming hundy = a few hundred over....

Indeed. When I test drove it I didn't even pay attention to the hood scoop and so I didnt realize it had a turbo. When the turbo spooled up and kicked in the car started to move...quickly. Caught me by surprise to say the least.

Congrats on the new car, I think that the new Legacy is hottness too. Did you get a five speed manual ?
 
2005 Legacy GT Limited just owns. The non-GT is quite a nice car for its prices range as well.(like 23-24k and it truly is loaded)

Shut up jackass. I'm a new subaru owner, and I sure as hell see no reason to pay over invoice. I know some dealerships that give you tremendous deals.
