You'd think they'd try to clear out stock before Venice, but I guess not

TWO WEEKS:| !! OMG I'm going to kill myself. I thoght I was gonna order the parts for my new rig tommorow! I was gonna buy from monarch cuz when you buy the combo you get HL2 and Far Cry (I haven't had a usable computer in months). Any word on how much they'll cost there? Escpecially the 3500 cuz thats what i'm getting.

No, I called monarch and the guy gave me and ETA, but no price. I have a feeling that Winchesters will drop again right before Venice actually becomes available though.

Ya know....if AMD cuts down production of Winchesters to accomodate production of Venice chips.....supply of Winchesters will drop.

And if supply drops more than demand.......price goes up.

Basic economics. It'll be interesting to watch and see how prices react this summer.

Supply hasn't dropped, and I meant price gone up only back to normal. Alot more factors than simply supply and demand. For one thing, demand of Winchesters are falling, with Venice on horizon.

they are gouging tho a bit

doesn't even seem like gouging, looked like a 10 premium on the 3200+ venice this morning.

maybe they don't want to run out of other things before venice, or they are just getting ready to hike up everythings price cause of demand for venice

how many people outside of forums like these even know or care that venice is coming out? i definitely think they'll be offering some decent deals this weekend and thru next week tho to clear stock.
