Which one do I get?!?!? Should I go for the 148 now? Will the 146's ever restock?

I just checked out Monarch computers and they've got both 146 and 148 OEM/retail in stock. Did you check em out?? Better get one (or more) while they last. Sounds like AMD is going to or already has shut down channels to non-system builders (server).

why retail? I wouldn't use the hs/f and isn't warranty voided with OCing?

I just like the fact the dealer did'nt put his paws all over the chips and it was sealed at AMD and no one touched it since.. I also like to use HSF for other cooling like mosfets/Chipset etc or even sell them..sold one for $15. I cut them up usually in little squares though.

I have a Opteron 148 and I have it running stable at over 2800MHz. Go for the OPteron I ordered another from Monarch since AMD is gonna cut the spigot off.
