AHHH, my car cd player got jacked

God I'm so pissed off. Ok well, after my car was towed from the accident, and delivered to the repair shop, the faceplate on my car stereo was missing along with my CDs. At first I asked the body shop and they didn't know what happened, and I tend to believe them because I saw the car sitting in their driveway just after it was delivered.

I called the towing company and they said that since it's been a couple days, there's nothing they can do about it. Why are towing companies such f*cking thieves?? :|:|:|:|

It's not like the stereo was even worth that much but why would someone jack just a face plate besides to screw someone else over?

I wished someone stole my geniune mint condition Delco Electronics CD player. It would give me an excuse to install something better.

Definately speak with the insurance company and tell them to speak with the towing company. They'll get some heat, and wouldn't want their company rep lost b/c of some stupid worker for the towing company.

Well, I called my insurance company and they just said to send in receipts for my equipment and they'll tag it to the claim. They aren't going to bother with the tow company.

Man I got reamed two separate ways by this whole situation. The accident wasn't even my fault and then my stereo gets jacked. 🙁

Towing company is notorious for jacking stuff when they towed your car. It's very hard to prove they jacked your sh!+ too cause they'll claimed the sh!+ was missing before they towed it.
