ahhh! i have to go in for surgery in march! **update**

when i did the surgery (same thing, but I also took out my uvula), I was on an apple juice diet for two weeks and lost about 20 pounds. its not that i didn't want to eat, I just couldn't.

good luck. my complications almost killed me (one of my sutures wasn't completly closed and I lost about 1/3 of the blood in my body).

dangerous is what this is.......i was only 22 when i did this and it almost killed me. i hihgly rec anyone do this when they are young...
