Hey guys,
Together, I finally got my system up and runing with all the components (well, minus my g3 which I'm goign to order soon). i lapped my hsf (volcano II) and it took me allmost half a day to get it down to a mirror shine. Every time I got to the 1500 grit paper, I always ended up putting a deep scratch in it. i finally figured out there was something wrong with that sheet paper. I was wondering, how do you guys do it? I ended up not using wet paper, but dry. And goign in nice semi-slow circles, I finally got my mirror finish
Anyways, heres my sys specs. Let me know what you think:
1.33 Ghz 255 Thunderbird
256 mb ddr ram PC 2100
temps are running 45.5 in the core
350 w enermax psu
16/12/40 PlexWriter
14x DVD Ram
IBM P260 21" TD Monitor (YAY!!!!! I love this... soo much better than my POS 15" i was using)
Soundworks FPS 2000
Asus Mobo(I forget the exact model.. V266 I think)
I'm using the hydralic case from directron.com So I'm slightly limited on the amount of fans I can use. I have a 60mm Panaflow fan on the back exausting and a 80mm Panaflow fan pulling air in the front.
