Ahhh damn... possible problem with PayPal

Well.. I added my ING Direct savings account to PayPal so I could transfer some money into there, account # and routing # are all correct. Stupid me, I went ahead and transfered the money without waiting for them to verify.

Turns out 2 days after the transaction was made(money still pending) PayPal sends me a notice via email that the verification deposit didn't make it. I think perhaps my bank name should have been "ING Bank, fsb" rather than "IND Direct".

Well, considering it was $570 something that I sent to that account, I sent an email right away asking them to cancel the pending transactions. Later that night my transaction status was changed to "completed". How can it be completed if the verification failed? Again another email went to PayPal asking where my money went.

I still haven't seen any of it show up in my ING account and PayPal is being really slow about responding to my emails.

WHERE'S THAT PAYPALDAMON GUY WHEN YOU NEED HIM?

It sounds like the routing transit/bank account numbers you used were incorrect. This will cause a rejection when the receiving bank gets the information, which will subsequently mean these deposits will be rejected. The deposits will be rejected back to your PayPal account (the process can take several business days).

I would recommend contacting your bank to see what the routing transit/bank account numbers should be.

We can't cancel these transactions once they are initiated. I am afraid you will have to wait for the money to bounce back to your PayPal account.
