I just completed a problem-free install of Win98..
I installed video, mobo, and sound drivers with no problems. I then proceeded to the Windows update, downloaded all the critical updates... installing... 99%.. Bluescreen! Rebooted, tried again, same thing. I decided to try something else. IE 5.5, same thing; Windows Media 7, same thing. Ok.. I went to Ati's site to get some new drivers for the Radeon, downloaded, finished installing, bluescreen. Very strange, I installed some drivers without a problem but all of a sudden I'm getting this. In case anyone would like to know the error is with VXD:xxxxxxxxx (<---some random number) like it always seems with BSOD's. This is very annoying, the 1st time I've installed Windows on my own, everything is working perfectly, then this. Anyone have any clue as to what is going on? There seems to be no other problems with Windows as of now.
