Ahh! www.Teamanandtech.com down!!?? [update]works using http://68.145.160.189/.

Could be a local problem for you. I wasnt able to get AT for hours the other night, but could get the D2OL server just fine.

I hit f5 to refresh?

No - it's NOT a local problem because I'm getting the same thing about it not being found and me and my honey Ass1 😛 are thousands of miles apart... 😀 😉 😛.

It sounds like a DNS problem and as we ALL know, this past week, some idiots decided to DDoS the Root Servers... and this makes me wonder whether that is happening again and/or there is a DNS propagation issue going on around the world... I guess it depends on what TTL the DNS you use is set for and/or whether you are running or have access to a caching-only name server that has updated its list (or have a hosts file with teamanandtech's IPs it)... This might affect people trying to get to OrangeKid's by the way... 🙁

[EDIT - interestingly enough, I've been having on and off problems with getting to various sites since last night - with the 2nd or 3rd try working.]

Poof
*sniff* thousands of miles away 🙁

😉
We'll have to meetup in some bushes part way ,I'm sure there's some little island between us😉

Still can't access it ,even after hitting F5.Took 2 attempts at accessing this thread too ,but then again the forums aren't exactly fast!

[update]
Yes I can access it with the IP number ,thanks 🙂

so Poof seems to be right, right? Oh well, I guess this sort of stuff will happen more often in the future... :-/

I live in Ontario, Canada and can't get through by typing the URL. I get a DNS error. Strangely enough I can drop to cmd and ping the URL and it will resolve and return all packets. This makes no sense. If ping can resolve the domain why can't IE? Whatever. Stupid crap. Anyway, I can get there by using http://68.145.160.189 as the URL.

I'm having probs reaching a few other sites now too since I last posted this. It seems to manifest itself as a brief delay on my Mozilla and really impacts any little graphics files that need to load at a site... Occassionally Mozilla will sit there saying it's trying to resolve the name and then it finally does (assuming that the name/IP isn't already cached). I guess now that the mainstream press has made a big fuss about what happened this week and then the "experts" turned around and claimed that whatever was done didn't seem to do much to impact the 'net, someone is probably gonna go after the servers with a vengence...
