A little whille after restart i lose internet connection and the ability to check email. However, my AIM still works. I am able to ping IPs, but can not even access my router through my browser. Both mozilla and IE refuse access any pages. It just says "done" in the status bar at the bottom. I also can't check my email using outlook. Another weird occurrence is a gray box in the middle of my desktop. Anything that lies in the box can not be clicked on. This eventually disappears. Ive run every diagnostics tool, antispyware, antivirus there is. I can't figure it out.

It looks like you have a LOT of programs running in your background... Disable them all until (maybe) that grey box goes away.. and then you know your problem. To me it looks like a spash screen of some sort that doesn't quite know when to go away.

As far as not accessing the internet.. make sure that your LAN settings (in Internet Options) aren't reverting to something you don't want it to (I had a program that would disable the "automaticly detect settings" checkbox every time I started it up).
