Our IM basketball game got intense yesterday. After an altercation with some punk from the other team, push came to shove.. and before I knew it I was uppercutted in the jaw, leaving me with a small bruise on my chin and making it hard to currently talk or eat. Luckily I got him back with a blow to his nose which left him bleeding all over the court.
Okay that's not really what happened, but I did get leveled guarding some punk in the post, his back turned to me, when he went up hard and his neanderthal skull crushed my jaw sending me to the ground. I felt teeth shift into different positions, and any sort of movements of my mouth remind me why I should avoid guarding the posts.
Adding insult to injury I got called for the foul, and he got two free throws out of it.
The final score? Us, 30; them 32.
