Has their been info on whether the trilogy will come to HD-DVD or Blu-Ray? I'd love to see the extended editions in 1080p and Dolby TrueHD and all that nonsense.

That what i would like to know, if it going to come out on hd-dvd or Blu-Ray.

Wonder why we're paying the same price as you guys are who have all the HD channels when we only have 12...

What are you complaining about? Most of the extra HD channels included in satellite packages are premium channels you can get on cable as well, or are for the most part "filler" channels which anyone would hardly ever watch...

I heard HD and I will buy it

I watched some of LOTR:ROTK on TNT/HD last night, like many movies they show, instead of letter-boxing the wide screen version, they change it to 16x9 format. This magnification screws up the movie for me.

And since I've gotten used to the extended version of the LOTR movies, the theatrical versions are somewhat lacking in content, and a bit too franticly paced.
