Okay, I dont know why this happened, or how'd it happen, but all of a sudden, my DVD player only reads certain DVDs...
I'm popping in my old movies that I've watched BEFORE without a single problem on my computer, and now it doesn't work.
couple symptoms... pop it in, it struggles to read it.. and it fails... doesn't show up as a CD/DVD or anything in the drive...
this is limited to only DVD movies with um... gold bottom. if it has any other color, silver or what not, it'll read fine. go figure. heh. I have no idea why, I dont get it.
I updated the firmware, no results... I thought I might have accidentally changed the region, checked it, it checks out fine...
so I have no idea why it can't read DVDs with bottoms with the color gold...
any info or input would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
