I just opened up IE and there's this stupid little bar up with the other toolbars. It's font is all messed up and it's got links to a search engine, Life Insurance, Black Jack, "Computers", etc. I tried clearing out my cookies and history, but this thing won't go away. Frankly, I'm starting to get a little scared . Someone help me kill this thing please!

how about view>toolbars and looking for it in there? There's also an option in internet options that lets you disable third party browser add-ons, but i have no idea if that would actually help you or not.

Whiteout? Maybe you could ctrl+alt+del and start closing programs.
